Welcome to! My name is Stéphanie Sadikoviq and I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2015. Before my diagnosis, I never expected to have to take into account my vacation destination in terms of food. Yet this is a fact for me and for about 160,000 fellow patients in the Netherlands.

Before my diagnosis, it was never a problem to book a vacation, but that changed after my diagnosis. Because where could I enjoy a carefree vacation without having to worry about getting sick during a meal? As the diagnosis was not that long ago for me and I still remember very well how miserable I can feel when ingesting gluten, booking a vacation had become very exciting for me.

Since I always enjoy good food, I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to do this during my vacations. After all, a vacation is the perfect time to enjoy eating whatever you like for a few weeks. In short: enjoy! Still, several questions haunted my mind after the diagnosis. “Can I go abroad with my gluten intolerance? Can I get by with just a dietary allowance? Can I only go to supermarkets or can I eat out without worrying? In the meantime, I have found several vacation destinations where I, as a celiac patient, can go very well. With my website I want to share all my experiences and help everyone to find the right vacation destination and of course the best deals!
